Flavel Welch Bowen

“My Great-grandfather's youngest brother (my second great uncle), Flavel Welch Bowen, was one of the casualties when the Pringle sunk. I do not have much information, all who knew him are deceased. I believe he died of his wounds, as his body was returned for burial in 1949. He is buried in Woodville Cemetery, Woodville, CA. One sad irony, April 16, 1945 was Flavel’s 31st birthday.”
