Bill was stationed aboard the USS Pringle when it sank.  He also served a short stint in the Army in 1948.   He was working for Western Electric and was reactivated as a radar technician (controller).  Bill is currently a retired telephone man (Illinois Bell) living in Pensacola, FL.
